Now, who is Elba?

Elba was my first ever oven, gifted to me by M. Elba was a dream come true! Learning how to bake used to be just a wish overshadowed by work and other priorities, so when she arrived on my doorstep, I was ecstatic!

I discovered the wonders and blunders of baking. I started with cookies, I think, then cheesecakes, or the other way around, then cupcakes, then cakes. Sadly, Elba couldn't come with us to the US so now I use the built-in oven in our apartment. Elba was way better, but what can I do? At least now I have K, my baking buddy (my pink KitchenAid stand mixer), who makes everything so much faster and easier. 

This space will chronicle my baking adventures (cakes, macarons, pastries, even breads and "clean" recipes too!), kitchen adventures featuring easy-peasy meal recipes (nothing fancy, newbie cook here - I've only started cooking a few months ago), along with a little bit of fitness and yoga (we have to have some kind of balance, right?), beauty, and crazy little things on the side.
